After 6 months together, Johansson, Reynolds get love nest ready

Scarlett Johansson is about ready to shack up, as we used to say, with Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds, according to In Touch mag.

They met somewhere in Canada, apparently, and now "he likes her a lot and they are ready to move in together," says the mag's nameless insider. After six months together they're "totally smitten and love spending every minute together."

She recently bought a house in Los Feliz, yet another district of L.A., and they're having it renovated. She's 22, he's 31.

Oh, shut up: Jonathan Rhys Meyers gives Details mag a lesson in avoiding false modesty:

"I'm a better actor now than I was when I was 18. Let's not kid ourselves: This business is about being good-looking. Look, Brad Pitt is an incredible actor, but do you think he'd be a famous movie star if he didn't look like that? Come on!"

No doubt many fathers feel this way about their daughters' husbands, but few actually say it: Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch, says her hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, should go to jail.

Blake, who has shared the singer's well-publicized descent into drug madness, is up on some assault charge soon, and the Daily Mirror has Mitch telling "a pal" this: "If Blake were to go to jail ... it would probably be the best thing that could happen for Amy. It would give her a chance to recover and we could get her into rehab."

The two have been married six months, and have apparently been stoned about five and a half of them. They tried rehab together in August, but broke out after 48 hours. A second try lasted longer - three days.

In time for next Mothers' Day: Britney Spears's mom, Lynne, will publish a memoir. The Grand Rapids Press, in Michigan, (I read 'em all!) got this from Lynne's ghost writer Lorilee Craker, who's from there.

"One thing I do want to make clear is that (Lynne) is not a stage mom," Craker said.

Working title: Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.

I wonder if Lynne's book will be more or less interesting than Kanye West's. The rapper promises that in his book Thank You And You're Welcome, "I will deliver my message uncensored, without any media distortion. It will be an entertaining volume of Kanyeisms - the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success."

Razorlight rocker Johnny Borrell, who dated Kirsten Dunst for a while there, is getting into acting, and will play opposite Colin Firth (Pride And Prejudice) and Robert Carlyle (The Full Monty) in a British movie called The Meat Trade.

Johnny told Billboard, the show-biz trade paper, this: "I play the boyfriend of the leading lady, who I'm not sure they've actually cast or not. We're filming around Christmas time, or just after. I expect it will be quite fun."

Elvis Presley remains king of the dead celebrities. He - well, you know, his estate - earned

$49 million U.S. last year, more than any other room-temperature celeb, according to Forbes mag, which follows this stuff. Second was John Lennon ($44 million). Then came Peanuts artist Charles M. Schulz ($35 million).
